I was self employed in the motor trade before moving to Oz. Shortly after arrival I landed a job as a used car salesman I was amazed at the differences in the trade. All the new products I had to learn. I soon moved to a dealership nearer to home. I moved in to new vehicles and specialised in migrants. I really enjoyed it and had great success. I not only sold cars but helped with settlement and finance and insurance which is something that can be a struggle.

I gained he trust of many a new arrival and made some good friends along the way who always called me about any vehicle related issues.

I really wish I had access to my old company email to show. I can say though that all my team members were amazed at how many migrants invited me to bbq's and social events after a happy car purchase. I still get the odd e-mail for advice and I keep in contact with old work pals who inform me that some of my old happy customers are now coming back looking for 2nd cars or vehicles for family and friends that have followed over.
